REBUILD HOPE, REBUILD HOME.
Diversity & Community impact

Our Diversity Story
The Chinese American Construction Professionals (CACP) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization founded in 1982. We proudly celebrate our Chinese-American heritage while welcoming professionals from all backgrounds — architects, engineers, contractors, material suppliers, developers, attorneys, CPAs, financial institutions, and more.
Our membership is intentionally inclusive: Corporate, Regular, Associate, Student, and Honorary Members. We believe that true strength comes from diversity of thought, culture, and experience.
Chinese-American Roots
Proudly led by Chinese-American professionals for 43 years, while actively building bridges across cultures and communities.
Inclusive Membership
Open to every background. We represent the full spectrum of the construction industry and welcome diversity at every level.
Small Business Advocacy
Official representatives on the Caltrans Statewide Small Business Council and Los Angeles Unified School District Small Business Council — fighting for equitable opportunities.
Rebuild Hope, Rebuild Home
In 2025 we responded to the Eaton and Palisades wildfires by stepping up to help restore homes and hope in affected communities — living proof of our community-first mission.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We are committed to:
• Creating spaces where every voice is heard
• Promoting equitable opportunities in design and construction
• Celebrating cultural diversity while advancing shared professional goals
• Nurturing the next generation through scholarships and mentorship — regardless of background
• Serving the broader community through education, networking, and disaster response
Be Part of Something Bigger
Whether you are a seasoned professional or a student just starting out, CACP offers a welcoming home where diversity drives innovation and community impact is real.
