Bentley Zhao is the Chairman & CEO of New Empire Corp. He has made his career in real estate ever since
completing his studies in Architecture at New York City College and in Economics at Baruch College. As of
2023, the company has developed and completed construction on more than 120 residential and hotel prop-
erty projects. He proudly serves as a Member of the Board Directors of Sing Tao Daily USA, an Honorary
Professor of Huali College, and the Founding Chair of the Asian Commercial Real Estate Association. He
also earns outstanding Business Leadership Award, the President Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the
American Dream Lifetime Achievement Award from the NY Republican State Committee.

Xing Lan is a licensed professional civil engineer at Mako Steel (doing business as MakoRabco Steel) in Carls-
bad, California. Mako Steel is a national award-winning self-storage builder and specializes in the design and
build of self-storage buildings across the United States. Xing graduated from the University of North Texas
with a master degree in construction management with a focus on the research and development of cold-
formed steel shear walls for high seismic applications. Xing has a strong interest in new construction technol-
ogies, prefabrication, and lean construction. In his spare time, Xing likes to play table tennis and pickleball.
